10 a.m. - Becoming an Informed Citizen

Jessica Boyer, Director of the Library, will present on how to become on how to become better informed and how to identify reliable sources of information.

11 a.m. - The Internship as Citizenship

A student panel moderated by Clare Tauriello, the Director of the Career Center, will discuss how students can fulfill their civic duties and earn academic credit at the same time. This session features Taylor Brown, Drew Phillippi, and Jesse Zurovchak.

1 p.m. - Citizenship and Civil Discourse

Boyd Creasman and David McCarthy from the Provost’s Office will discuss how good citizenship is enhanced through civil discourse.

2 p.m. - The Need to Become Informed about Racial Justice

Students will present on how we all need to become more informed about racial justice issues. This session features Meredith Creo and John Hargreaves.

3 p.m. - How to Be a Citizen During Challenging Times

Madelin Sagastume and Asia Yates will present on how to turn potential setbacks into constructive action.
