The AI Epoch

Ethics and Insights at the Crossroads of Humanities and Sciences

The talk will address pressing questions: How is AI challenging our traditional narratives and reshaping scientific paradigms? What ethical considerations arise as we integrate AI more deeply into our societal frameworks? And importantly, how can a liberal arts education equip us to critically engage with, and contribute to, the AI-dominated landscape?

Katherine L. Elkins, Ph.D., is a renowned professor, AI researcher, and thought leader whose contributions have significantly shaped the intersection of humanities and artificial intelligence. A Professor of Humanities and Faculty of Computing at Kenyon College, she co-developed the groundbreaking "AI for the Humanities" course, now one of Kenyon's most sought-after classes.
