To celebrate International Women's Day and promote equity and inclusion for women, the Mount's Women in Business Club is hosting our 3rd annual symposium. The event will open with remarks from WIB Club's president, followed by a presentation of the 2023 Women in the Workplace Report by Dr. Christina Green of the Bolte School of Business. Sessions will be held each hour on the start of the hour (50 minutes each) and will include topics focusing on women in business/leadership, women in STEM, women in Law, women in Health Professions, mental health, and more. Guest speakers and panelists will be announced closer to the date. The day will conclude with open discussion on how we can advocate for women and promote inclusion for women in our Mount community.
The event is open to all - men, women, students, faculty, staff, administration, and alumni. Attendees may come and go as they are able to do so throughout the day. A detailed schedule will be released the week prior to the symposium.
