Help Keep Mary's Mountain Beautiful!

Join your fellow alumni and current Mount students for the National Alumni Association's Grotto Cleanup Day! We invite you to come participate in an afternoon of service to help keep Mary's mountain beautiful!

Date: Friday, October 24, 2025
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 pm
Location: National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes 16330 Grotto Rd Emmitsburg, MD 21727-8942

Event Details:

• Pre-registration is recommended to ensure placement for projects
• Please dress accordingly.
• Gardening gloves are recommended!
• Come prepared for the weather, October on Mary's Mountain can vary throughout the day.
• If there is inclement weather the Office of Alumni Engagement will notify volunteers of event cancellation prior to the event.
• Mass is celebrated at the Grotto in St. Mary’s Chapel at 11:00 AM for all who would like to attend.
