Open Zipline-Open House
Free to all Mount Students and Employees with a valid Mount ID.
- No one is permitted to use the Zipline without a trained instructor.
- Only one participant will be active on the Zipline. All other participants will wait in the gear and briefing zone for their respective turns.
- Any participant over 6’2” or over 220 lbs. MUST be checked for a minimum 2’clearance between their feet and the ground at the offloading site before participating in the activity
- Only the instructor clips and unclips the participants to harnesses, lanyards, and trollies.
- Participants must wear helmets in the designated helmet zones.
- No person or object may cross through the Zipline corridor
- No jumping. No running except when specified. No dropping or throwing of equipment.
- Objects found in the surrounding environment must not be used on the Zipline.
- Participants must not invert while riding on the Zipline.
- No headphones, earbuds, or AirPods are to be worn. Participants must be able to hear the instructor’s directions clearly.
- Clothing, belts, or other personal belongings may not be used on the Zipline.
- Shoes must remain on at all times. Sturdy shoes with closed toes and closed heels are required. High-heeled shoes and sandals are not acceptable.
- Anything that might be caught in the apparatus, including watches, scarves, and jewelry, should be removed.
- Long hair should be tied back throughout the experience.
- No gum chewing or eating while participating in the activity.
- All objects and personal belongings should be removed from pockets.
